Support Us in Many Ways

In addition to making a donation in the space to the right, if you are 70 1/2 years or older you can contribute from your IRA.

A “Qualified Charitable Distribution” (QCD) allows each individual to make a distribution of up to $100,000 from their IRA each year. This giving option could help you lower the fair market value of your IRA, thus lowering future required minimum distributions. It can also be a great avenue for lowering your taxable income if you already planned to make charitable giving a part of your family’s plan for caring for the community. Even more, by lowering your taxable income, you can also save money on Medicare Part B premiums.

To make a QCD, please give your financial advisor the Gift of Jazz address and our federal tax ID (EIN). Questions? Contact us.
